Mr. Jordan Reed
Mr. Reed attended Christian Brothers University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy with a minor in Spanish. He received his Masters of Arts in Religion from Memphis Theological Seminary and his teaching certificate from Middle Tennessee State University. This fall, Mr. Reed begins a doctoral program at Carson Newman University working towards an Ed.D in Administrative Leadership.
For the past six years, Mr. Reed has taught in public schools, including two years as a Spanish teacher in Shelby County and most recently with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. As a teacher with MNPS, he taught a wide range of students and worked diligently to ensure each student's needs were met.
Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Reed has seen students who have exceptional needs not receive the academic skills needed. Mr. Reed is dedicated to working with his students to ensure that each one learns to his or her highest potential no matter the background. He feels strongly that TES is the place for these students and teachers to come together to achieve their academic potential.
Mr. Reed and his wife Mandi have a dog named Fred, a cat named Sam and a turtle named Leonidas. His main hobbies include fishing and working on cars.
