Who we are
A small school built around one idea: your child deserves to be understood.
The Edison School opened in 2012 for students who were not being served anywhere else. We are a not-for-profit day school in Madison, Tennessee, accredited by Cognia.
Why we exist
We were started by families who had run out of options.
Every one of our students arrived from somewhere that was not working. That is the whole reason the school exists.
We start by measuring whether a kid wants to come back on Monday. We finish by watching them graduate, ready for whatever comes next.
We’re small and we like it that way. Every adult in the building knows your child by name.

Ask a parent why they stayed, and they’ll usually tell you about a teacher. Most of ours have been here for years, and several came to Edison after watching the same thing happen to a child of their own.
